About Me - Mia Bennett
My name is Mia Bennett. I am a musician, artist, poet, photographer, fashion designer, and founder of Hot Tubs & Skeletons. All of these categories are my channels I use to express myself in the best way I am capable. I pour my heart and soul into my creations, and I am sharing just a glimpse of them on this website.
I started drawing the first time I could pick up a pencil, and from there, I have formed myself into the person I am today. In my freshman year of high school, I finally found my art style, and have grown from there immensely. When I discovered my creativity after only doing realism (which I felt like I was forced to do), I started to feel like who I was always meant to be. Personally, I feel like my visual art does not fall under any specific genre. When others ask me what kind of art I do, all I can come up with is - "It's just my mind putting emotions onto a canvas", which I believe is accurate to this day.
My whole life I have been into music, and during the same year I found my art style, I got into the music that I overflow my heart with everyday. Rock, and all the sub genres that fall under it. I have many forms of expressing my passion for music - them being, of course, listening to music, making vivid playlists on Spotify, going to concerts/shows, and being in a band. I have been in three rock bands in my life and will continue doing so in the future. Though it is many people's dream to become successful with their music, it is mine as well. Not to necessarily become famous from it, but just to the point where it is received by the listener in a positive and emotional way. That is success for me.
